Because this is currently not a legal ceremony, you can hold it where you like.
Many couples choose a hotel, but it might be a function room. I have conducted a ceremony in the couple’s back garden.
Because your Celebration isn’t the legal part of your ceremony, wherever you host your celebration does not need to be licenced for weddings.
It’s as simple as that.
So you might be asking, ‘Can I use a Celebrant instead of a Registrar?’
Thank you! Chris was our only choice of celebrant, we wouldn't have wanted anyone else, and he was absolutely fantastic. He made everyone laugh, and cry, and all the guests said that the ceremony was beautiful... Chris is a wonderful person and Nick and I are feel very fortunate that we have you in our lives now.
